The last decades have significantly changed the map of hydrocarbon
reserves of our country. 400 surface hydrocarbon deposits were discovered beyond
the Arctic Circle, which, according to recent
estimates, store 80% of all Arctic oil. 60 of them are being mined today, the
rest are yet to be developed. But harsh Arctic climate affects the operation of
extracting and service companies.
